Clarification Text on the Processing of Personal Data
SİER HEALTH PRODUCTS AND TEXTILE Ind. Trade Ltd. Co. (referred to as “SİER HEALTH PRODUCTS”) prioritizes the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, privacy, information security, and ethical values. As the Data Controller under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), our company fulfills its obligation to inform under Article 10 of the KVKK. Below are the explanations regarding the processing and protection of your personal and sensitive personal data. The term “personal data” in this document includes sensitive personal data.

Purpose of Processing and Transferring Personal Data
Your personal data is processed to fulfill legal obligations, conduct company activities, manage communication between the company and purchasing firms, maintain legal and commercial relationships, organize events, improve goods and services, promote campaigns, manage sales analysis, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with global policies. Data is collected and processed in printed, wet-signed, or electronic formats.

Your personal data may be shared with employees, suppliers, business partners, service providers (telecommunication companies, health and safety units, travel agencies, technical support companies, etc.), official institutions, and SİER HEALTH PRODUCTS companies domestically and abroad, banks, survey firms, lawyers, consultants, and other relevant institutions, ensuring data security.

Method of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Basis
Personal data is collected transparently, with explicit consent when necessary, in compliance with laws and proportionality principles. Data is processed under Article 5/2/a of the KVKK and shared with relevant parties for legitimate purposes, including contract fulfillment, legal obligations, and protection of rights.

Retention Period of Personal Data
Your personal data is retained for the duration specified by relevant legislation or as required for processing purposes. After this period, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in compliance with the KVKK.

Security of Personal Data
Your personal data is processed and stored securely, encrypted when necessary, and accessible only to authorized personnel. Necessary information security measures are implemented to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or damage.

Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK
You have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed,

  • Request information if processed,

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used appropriately,

  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,

  • Request deletion or destruction of data under Article 7,

  • Object to automated processing resulting in adverse consequences,

  • Request compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
